2026 General Assembly

From 1 until 2 June 2026, the PROSECCO consortium gathered in Lille for the General Assembly and Advisory Board meeting, an important milestone to reflect on progress, strengthen collaboration, and align on the next steps towards future-ready HVDC grids in Europe.

Throughout the meeting, partners shared the latest developments across the project's work packages, including:

• HVDC protection relays and DC relay testing
• Transient stability methodologies for AC/DC fault scenarios
• Protection demonstrators and interaction studies
• Scheduling and congestion management for hybrid AC/DC grids
• Power Flow Control demonstrators
• Model-Based Systems Engineering and use case development

The meeting also provided a valuable opportunity to exchange insights with the Advisory Board and discuss the challenges and opportunities linked to the integration of HVDC technologies into Europe's future energy system.
